Mainnet fee-burn is live: 50% of every gas fee, gone forever
With the v2-lightfee coordinated upgrade, every transaction on lightdao-mainnet-1 now splits its fee 50% burn / 30% validators / 20% treasury, enforced at the chain layer (x/lightfee), not by convention. Gas is USD-anchored so a reference transfer costs ~$0.001 regardless of LIGHT price. Burn is verifiable: watch the burn address balance only ever rise.

We deleted the seed phrase (and the #1 way users lose funds)
LightDAO wallets log in with Passkey/WebAuthn biometrics; the mnemonic is encrypted device-side and never shown by default, with Shamir 3-of-5 social recovery as backup. Mnemonic remains only as an optional fallback. Result: onboarding in seconds and no 12 words to lose.

Your browser is now infrastructure: device-direct WebRTC relay
Light nodes form a P2P mesh over WebRTC with an 8-region TURN/TURNS fleet for symmetric NAT. Relayed bytes are metered on-device and score 40% of mining reward, verified by validator challenges + peer attestation + per-block Merkle root.

Gas that doesn't move with the token: USD-anchored pricing
min-gas-price is derived from an on-chain TWAP oracle so fees stay stable in USD terms even before a LIGHT/USDC pool exists. When liquidity arrives, the oracle switches to real market median automatically via governance parameter.
